One member of the Van Else Group who is well known for pushing the boundaries and updating the modern uniform is the brand VanElse. VanElse’s designs constantly evoke a genuine fashion sensibility based on fine craftsmanship and exact tailoring by challenging conventional proportions.
VanElse started her company in a modest “by appointment” store at the Rotterdam Train Station in 2008. In the years that followed, her line grew to encompass full ready-to-wear and accessory lines for the modern powerful woman. VanElse is also well-known for her incredibly imaginative runway shows, which have drawn praise from all around the world for their dramatic and thought-provoking themes and locations including atop the International Train Stations.
VanElse has received recognition for her work by winning the Viva 400 award for best designer, winning other designer awards at major events in Moscow, Geneva, Milan, and Barcelona, being worn by international actresses and musicians, and having articles in Vogue and Elle. At the moment, 40 countries offer the brand in major cities such as Shanghai, New York, London, Milan, Tokyo, Dubai, and Singapore.
